The date of its establishment is unclear, only that it was built next to the temple of Liu Bei, the emperor of Shu. The garden is famous for its layers of rocks that were shaped in a powerful style, especially the Four Season Hills.

  • St. Dominic's Church in MacauStanding on the site of a chapel and convent built by the Dominicans in the 1590's St. Dominic's Church dates from the early 17th century. It has an imposing facade of cream-colored stone with white stucco moldings and green-shutter windows. Inside, white pillars support a flat ceiling and apron balconies trim the walls. The great baroque alter contains a cream and white statue of the Virgin and Child and a painting of Christ. The church has a fine collection of exquisitely-carved ivory and wood saints.

  • The Ancient Town of ZhouzhuangZhouzhuang is an ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River of China. Located in the southeast of Suzhou City, the town is a peaceful and secluded place, filled with ancient style buildings.
  • LuzhiSituated 25 kilometers southeast from Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, Luzhi Town was praised as the First Town of Chinese Watery Regions by Fei Xiaotong, vice president of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. Because Lu Qiumeng, a poet named Fu Li in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), once lived there in seclusion, it was called Songjiang Fuli in ancient times. The town was renamed as Luzhi in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), after Luduan, a mysterious unicorn, which was believed to have the power of warding off evils.
  • Yangguan PassYangguan Pass is at 70 kilometers southwest of Dunhuang. Yangguan was named for its location south of the Yumen Pass.
  • XidiXidi is located at the southern foot of the famous Huangshan Mountain. It is one of the most representative ancient folk house scenic spots in the southern part of Anhui Province.
  • Badaling - The Great Wall of ChinaBadaling is the site of the most visited section of the Great Wall of China, approximately 50 miles (80 km) northwest of Beijing city in Yanqing County, which is within the Beijing municipality. The portion of the wall running through the site was built during the Ming Dynasty, along with a military outpost reflecting the location's strategic importance.
  • Guqin PavilionThe Ancient Lute Pavilion was first built in Northern Song Dynasty. The present one was rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. On the stone stele in the center of the pavilion is the half-length statue of Yu Boya. On the pavilion are written four Chinese characters "gaoshan liushui", meaning high mountains and flowing waters. They refer to an anecdote of two understanding friends in ancient times.
