Taklamakan Desert
The Taklamakan Desert (塔克拉玛干沙漠), also known as Taklimakan, is a desert in Central Asia, in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. It is bounded by the Kunlun Mountains to the south, and the Pamir Mountains and Tian Shan (ancient Mount Imeon) to the west and north. The name is a Uyghur borrowing of Arabic tark, "to leave alone/out/behind, relinquish, abandon" + makan, "place". Popular accounts claim that Takla Makan means "go in and you will never come out".
Qinglong Waterfall
The Qinglong waterfall is located on the west of the Grand Canyon ecology park in Mount Wuyi. The 40-meter-wide Qinglong Waterfall at Tianzidi that cascades downhill from a height of 120 meters. It is known as the No. 1 Waterfall in East China. Nanbei Lake in Zhejiang
The Nanbei Lake embraces a spectacular tract of hill-lake-and-sea scenery in southeastern China. It is one of the first provincial parks in Zhejiang Province and also one of the first national parks in China. It is located in Haiyan County of Zhejiang, north coast of Hangzhou Bay. It is in the vicinity of many modern cities. It is 120 kilometers away from Shanghai, 80 kilometers away from Hangzhou and 110 kilometers away from Suzhou.
Xiandu Scenic Area in Zhejiang
Xiandu Scenic Area is located in Jinyun County, the scenic area features an enchanting landscape of queer peaks and beautiful waters that are in harmony with the rural scenery and historical relics. It is a national scenic area mainly for sightseeing, spending holidays, and the popularization of science. There are more than 300 scenic spots in the 166.2-square-kilometer scenic area, including Dinghu Peak, Old Man Ni's Ravine, Gufu Crag, the Lesser Chibi, Furong Gorge, and Xianshui Cave, which are divided into four zones.
Wuxie Scenic Area in Zhuji
Wuxie located 30 kilometres west of Zhuji County, Wuxie is nestled among the mountains. Wuxie is famous for its mountain scenery and spectacular waterfalls. The waterfall, which is cascaded in five giant steps, flows down from the precipice. Thereafter the waterfall become known as "Wuxie" meaning "five water falls". By the sides of Wuxie Stream stands an array of high peaks and grotesque rocks. It is said that there are "72 peaks", "36 caves" and "25 rocks".
Wild Elephants Valley in Yunnan
