Mt. Phoenix (Fenghuang) 50kms northwest of Dandong is a part of Mt. Changbai, with its hightest peak standing 836.4 meters above sea level. The mountain is one of the famous tourist attractions in Liaoning Provine, with sheer cliffs, springs and vaces, flowers and plants, and beautiful scenery in all seasons. Mt. Phoenix consists of four scenic areas, including Xishan (West Mount), Dongshan (East Mount), Miaogou, and Ancient City. There are more than 800 species of flowers, plants, and medicinal herbs. |
