Located on the south bank at the middle Wu Gorge-one of the three gorges of the Yangtze River, it is the most famous one among the twelve peaks. As it's the first to enjoy sunglow in the morning and the last to send it away, it is also called Sunglow View Peak or Beauty Peak. The stone pillar on the top is like a graceful girl musing upon the Yangtze River and welcoming the sailing boats, while the clouds and mists amid Wu Mountain add to its mystique and fairness. The middle and lower stretches of the Yangtze River run through the Goddess Stream Gorge featuring numerous peaks on the banks, with all brooks converged into springs and waterfalls from south to north, meeting the Yangtze River at the foot of Flying Phoenix Mountain opposite to the Goddess Peak.
